Community Sports Leaders Award

With Sports Leadership, we have the chance to use sports and physical activity as a way of supporting learners to develop the essential skills they need to plan, develop and deliver activities that bring benefits to their communities.

The Higher Sports Leadership Award offers a blend of theory and practical experience, giving learners multiple opportunities to put into practice the leadership skills they develop as part of the programme.

The learners will assist in the running of local primary and secondary school events as well as in school. The course once completed is worth 16 UCAS points.
