The school runs a “lottery style” fund raising event every month called the “1000 Club”. In order to enter the lottery, parents become members of the BWSPA 1000 Club. Each member is assigned a number which is entered into the draw each month.
Parents, and indeed, friends, relatives and neighbours are invited to join by completing the attached registration form. You should complete the registration form, which sets up a monthly Direct Debit.
The cost is £1 per entry per month. You may have as many entries in a month as you like, 1 entry = £1 per month, 2 entries = £2 per month and so forth. Hence cheques should be in multiples of £12, with £12 being the subscription for one year with a single draw each month.
There are three monthly prizes of £50, £25 and £15. As the number of regular entrants increases, the “1000 Club” will review the prizes going out monthly with the view to increasing them where possible.
The 1000 Club is responsible for raising over £2,500 annually. We pass half this amount back to the parents as prizes and half to the BWSPA to be used to provide additional facilities for your boys. The more parents who subscribe, the more money we raise for both the boys and to hand back to you in the form of prizes.
