The school runs a “lottery style” fund raising event every month called the “1000 Club”. In order to enter the lottery, parents become members of the BWSPA 1000 Club. Each member is assigned a number which is entered into the draw each month.
The BWS 1000 Club is a cornerstone of fundraising to support young people's enrichment at school. Every month, you can contribute a small amount via a standing order. For every pound given, you receive an entry in a monthly draw with prizes of £50, £25 and £15.
Each entry costs £1 per month and gives you one entry in the monthly draw. Of course you can have more than one number! The more entries you buy the greater your chance of a cash prize. Subscribing £5 per month would give you five entries, for less than a pint of beer.
We currently raise around £1,000 per year through the £1000 Club from just a small number of parents. If every family were a member, we could raise about 10 times that amount - over £800 for the school every month, or £10,000 per year! To join:
